Irish Minister to Sign Order to Increase Cleaning Industry Pay
Contract cleaners in Ireland are about to start earning a little more. Under an Employment Regulation Order signed by Emer Higgins — Minister for Business, Employment, and Retail — workers in the sector are entitled to pay of at least €13.30 per hour. The new rule applies to anyone aged 18 years and older and is effective as of June 1, 2024.
